"Chinese? I Can." is operated by Jing Lu, a self-employed individual (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic.

We provide digital, self-paced Chinese-language learning courses ("Courses") delivered via the go-lume.com web platform and companion app. Courses are digital content and are made available for immediate online access after purchase — no physical goods are shipped.

Payments for our courses are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliated entities ("Stripe"). For transactions completed through Stripe's Managed Payments service, Stripe acts as seller of record for that specific transaction and is responsible for payment processing and applicable tax collection and remittance for it. Lume Studio (Jing Lu, IČO 29611911) remains the provider of the underlying digital course content and is responsible for content access, delivery, and customer support. Where a transaction is not processed under Managed Payments, Jing Lu, IČO 29611911 acts as seller and bears the related tax obligations for that transaction.

• Stripe handles payment processing, currency conversion, and payment-method security (Lume Studio never sees or stores your card details).
• Stripe issues your purchase receipt/invoice for transactions it processes as seller of record.
• For payment, billing, invoicing, or card-related questions, Stripe's own terms and support channels apply.

Prices shown on the Site include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

On successful payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased Course content for your own individual learning use. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly perform, sublicense, or share your account or Course materials with others.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached (e.g., account sharing, unauthorized redistribution).

Digital content is delivered immediately upon successful payment confirmation via account access on the Site/app. By completing checkout, you acknowledge that delivery begins immediately — see our Refund Policy for how this affects your right of withdrawal.

All Course content, text, audio, video, design, and platform software are owned by or licensed to Lume Studio and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No rights are transferred to you beyond the limited license in Section 4.

You agree not to: circumvent access controls; scrape, copy, or redistribute Course content; use the Site for unlawful purposes; or attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Czech and EU law, Lume Studio's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or Courses is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Course. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
