"Chinese? I Can." is operated by Jing Lu, a self-employed individual (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic.

We provide digital, self-paced Chinese-language learning courses ("Courses") delivered via the go-lume.com web platform and companion app. Courses are digital content supplied online on the Site — no physical goods are shipped. The delivery arrangements are set out in Section 5.

Lume Studio is operated by Jing Lu, IČO 29611911, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic. Payments on this Site are processed by Stripe and its acquiring affiliates. Stripe processes payments; it is not the seller of the courses.

Where Managed Payments applies to your transaction, the seller of record — the merchant of record for that transaction — is Sold through Link, LLC. Checkout is carried out through Link, Stripe's payment service. Your receipt and invoice are issued under the name "Sold through Link", and your card or bank statement may show a descriptor referring to Link rather than to Lume Studio. Receipts, invoices, refund confirmations and certain subscription emails are sent to you by Sold through Link, LLC, and you can manage your orders and subscriptions at link.com. Creating a Link account is optional and is not required to complete a purchase.

Where Managed Payments does not apply to your transaction, you buy directly from Jing Lu, IČO 29611911, who is the seller for that transaction.

In either case, the course content, your access to it, and your licence to use it are provided by Jing Lu, IČO 29611911, under these Terms.

Support is divided as follows: transaction-level questions — payment, billing, invoices and refunds — are handled by Sold through Link, LLC; questions about course content and access are handled by us. You may always write to us at hello@go-lume.com, including about payment, and we will pass on whatever needs to be passed on.

Where Managed Payments applies to your transaction, the seller of record is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting indirect taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST) in those countries covered by Managed Payments indirect tax compliance. For transactions in countries outside that coverage, and for all transactions to which Managed Payments does not apply, indirect tax compliance remains the responsibility of Jing Lu, IČO 29611911.

Prices shown on the Site include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

On successful payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased Course content for your own individual learning use. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly perform, sublicense, or share your access or Course materials with others.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached (e.g., access sharing, unauthorized redistribution).

Declining future orders. We may decline future orders placed with your e-mail address, and not issue access to our Courses for them, if two or more of your earlier purchases have been refunded in cases where we were not at fault. Refunds where we were not at fault are refunds made because you withdrew under your statutory right of withdrawal or used our voluntary 14-day refund window. Refunds made because of a problem on our side — for example, late delivery, content that does not match its description, a technical failure we could not resolve, or a duplicate charge — do not count. A decision to decline your future orders lapses three years after the most recent refund where we were not at fault.

This does not affect any refund you are entitled to. We will always process a withdrawal or refund to which you are entitled, whatever the number of earlier refunds, and we will not remove your access to any Course you have paid for and that has not been refunded; we will also continue to restore that access if you ask us to. If an order is placed after we have decided to decline your future orders, we will cancel it and refund the full amount; that refund does not count towards the limit above.

Any such decision is taken by a person, not by automated means alone. If we decide to decline your future orders, we will tell you by email and explain why, and you can ask us to reconsider by writing to hello@go-lume.com. Our Privacy Policy describes how we process the related purchase and refund records.

Courses are delivered by making them available to you on the Site/app. The Course currently offered on go-lume.com, Package A — Everyday China Toolkit, is made available to you in full as soon as your payment is confirmed: all of its units, as listed on our pricing page, and the emergency phrase card included with it are unlocked at once. After payment, you are returned to the Site and your browser receives an access cookie that opens the Course you bought; no account or password is needed (see our Privacy Policy). If you lose access, for example on a new device, write to hello@go-lume.com and we will restore it.

Completing checkout or accessing the Course does not waive your right of withdrawal. Your statutory right of withdrawal and our voluntary 14-day refund window are set out in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights in case of non-supply or lack of conformity are unaffected.

All Course content, text, audio, video, design, and platform software are owned by or licensed to Lume Studio and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No rights are transferred to you beyond the limited license in Section 4.

You agree not to: circumvent access controls; scrape, copy, or redistribute Course content; use the Site for unlawful purposes; or attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Czech and EU law, Lume Studio's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or Courses is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Course. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are an EU consumer, you may also refer a dispute to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, ČOI), the body responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in the Czech Republic: https://coi.gov.cz/en/information-about-adr/
